Ingredients:- Papaya chopped-2 cup
- Ghee-11/2 tsp
- Sugar-3 tbsp (as per taste)
- Cardamom powder-a pinch
- Chopped nuts-to garnish
- Puree the chopped papaya in a blender to smooth (without adding any water).
- Heat a non-stick pan with 1 tsp of ghee.
- Add pureed papaya and cook for about 10 minutes on medium flame until thickens.
- Add sugar and cook again until dry and dark in color.
- Then add cardamom powder and 1/2 tsp of ghee.
- Turn of heat when halwa leaves form the sides of the pan.
- Garnish with chopped nuts. (i used roasted coconut pieces, roasted cashew and chopped pistachio)
- Serve the halwa after cools down completely.
