“Nothing” meaning nothing tremendous thrilling simply due to the fact we have been busy doing “everything”–laundry, potty tuition (which capacity exxxtra laundry) feeding hungry kids, stretching sporting events with child etc. There is now not any extra essential process within the international than being the mama of those unique kids, but boy do those three maintain me BUSY.

Luckily my children all sleep wonderful and move to bed early. So come 7:30pm I actually have a quiet residence and lots of R&R.

Friday evening is date evening with the Jeff. Whether we move out or dine-in, we at all times desire to share a candy deal with on the quit of the night. With how drained I’ve been lately, it’s all I can handle to open the freezer and sneak just a pair of frozen chocolate chips for us. PATHETIC, I recognise 😉 .

He these days requested those easy chocolate and caramel pretzel bars, so I decided to make a bit twist on that recipe and upload peanut butter! Best choice ever.

SOME TIPS FOR THIS RECIPE:
Start with some melted chocolate. I just like the ghiardelli model of chocolate chips, for melting, otherwise you would even melt a pair of Hershey’s chocolate bars.

Smooth the melted chocolate onto parchment paper.

Throw on some mini pretzel twists and a sprinkle of a few Reese’s items (one of my favourite candies!). The pretzels don’t ought to be in an even layer.

Make the peanut butter sauce and drizzle it generously over the pretzels and candy. This is what makes everything stick together! I desire to make use of gentle peanut butter, but when you desire some peanut bits on your bars you would use chunky peanut butter.

Top the bars with some extra melted chocolate and enable it to arrange within the fridge. YUM! Only just a pair of meals after which quit end end effect is a fully yummy, candy and salty treat.
